Possible Depths
2.5 days and 2 night. How many scuba dives do you think can really be done in that time. Well to tell the truth I did 11. That was 9 day dives and 2 night dives. For this time my daily schedule was dive, eat, sleep, for times a day. How great is that. (^-^)
When I got to Cairns I had booked my trip with a company called Pro Dive. Thinking that if I booked on short notice I would get a good deal. Well I did by booking only two days in advance I got 150 dollars of the top. Also at the end of the trip if I had time I could have done an other 3 days 2 night trip for 75 dollars a day. But I did not have the time.
I had a good company and people on the boat and a good price. The only thing that could make it better was perfect weather. Guess what, I could not have had better weather during the dives. Not a cloud in the sky and not the slightest breeze. The ocean was almost as flat as a swimming pool with just as good visibility. From the boat you could see right down the bottom. When you got into the water you could see for at least 30 meters. (For those that don't know what is good, 30 meters is extremely clear)
With weather like this the reef was just teeming with life. I saw everything from sea turtles, sharks, giant sea wrasse, to lion fish. I was impossible to remember everything. Most likely my best dive sites ever.
Now I left the nice relaxed pace of life in Australia and land back in japan.I have only been here for 2 days and they have all ready started booking me in for some work.
It back to the grind stone for me.
